The Landmine of Negative Thoughts – Landmine Series Part 2
Philippians
Introduction: Too many times we think that the battle we fight is the battle that we see in front of us when the real battle really takes place in our mind.
Proverbs 23:7 Solomon wrote, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
Let me show an example of how this battle takes place: Matthew 5:21-22/5:27-28 here Jesus shows us that the real battle starts in our mind. Even if you haven’t killed someone but if you think like you want to kill that person because of your anger then you have already committed such. Even if you haven’t committed adultery but in your mind you wanted to then you have already committed such.

The Landmine of Fear (Landmine Series #1)
The Landmine of Fear (Landmine Series #1)
2 Timothy 1:7
Introduction: If I were traveling across country in Viet Nam, Cambodia, or near the border of Thai-Burma area; one of my greatest fears would be encountering a landmine! Clear Landmines International says that one person dies every 30 minutes somewhere in the world from stepping on a landmine.
Landmines by the millions are just waiting for someone or something to trigger their explosive.
1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking who he may devour.”
There are many landmines that we need to sidestep in life. These landmines are the ones that hinder us from becoming victorious in life – victorious in our relationships, service to God, and personal success. We will be discussing these landmines in the next Sundays but today I’m going to discuss first the landmine of fear.

“So What Now?”
“So What Now?”
John 20:1-18
Introduction: I remember when my mom would watch the Showbiz news every Sunday afternoon and my dad would happen to be sitting down with her. Every time there is news about a certain actor or actress on TV my dad would say “Now what? Is that even going to generate money for us?”
There are a lot of things in this world that doesn’t seem to have relevance in our lives and it just makes us ask “Now what?”
Have you ever have a talent that you can’t even use in your life? It just doesn’t have any relevance in any person’s life – not even yours!
